" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Anybody gonna tell APHIS/USDA what a migratory waterfowl does?  That's a pretty tall fence if that's the case... :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
Introduce someone new to hunting this year.

Especially the ones that go to Alaska and then back down in the fall.

Don't let them know they migrate, they'll shut the whole season down.  :bash:

Wonder what they would say if you flew your harvested birds across vs. driving them.  Way of the migration.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

It says raw meat so idk. It would be worth checking for sure.  I really agree with this rule. Many Waterfowl hunters  could do better at processing or breasting the animals as well as carcass disposition after they breast them.  It's pretty crazy how it looks around the Skagit and Whatcom areas when the birds show.  Piles of breasted birds from ag lands to the uplands and most points in between.  If they are carriers and you get into a high concentration it could be devastating to both the farm community as well as the local raptor community.  Many who participate could help the overall image by both watching where used birds get dumped and policing your brass.  :twocents: take it for what is worth.

Just so those are aware, the rules have changed on this as of Sept. 12th. You can now bring game birds in under a set of guidelines. See below for the most current info!

Happy hunting!
Shoot to kill!
